Ryan Hassan, M.D., M.P.H., is a board-certified pediatrician working at Pediatric Associates of the Northwest. He lives in Clackamas with his wife, Christen, daughter, Olivia, and chihuahua, Luna Joe. His professional work centers around improving the lives of children by promoting preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle choices at the individual and community levels and empowering physicians to become better advocates for their patients.
Dr. Hassan is also the Medical Director at Boost Oregon, a nonprofit organization that empowers people to make science-based vaccine decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Dr. Hassan grew up in Texas, where he completed medical school in El Paso before moving to Utah for pediatric residency. He moved to Oregon in 2017 to start working as an outpatient pediatrician. His training and career have helped him see the ways our health outcomes are tied to our physical, social and political environments before we are even born. Dr. Hassan is an avid outdoors enthusiast and enjoys running, biking, swimming, hiking, backpacking, climbing, snowboarding and kite surfing.
